1. What is FivePlusTrax?

FivePlusTrax is a dashboard of financial information and trends on your company.  A Financial Dashboard is designed to provide a simple visual overview of the health and direction of any organization that has financial statements, i.e. balance sheets, income statements (also known as profit and loss, or operating statement) and cash flow statements.

2. How much is a FivePlusTrax subscription?

FivePlusTrax is a month to month subscription of $19.95, and you can cancel at any time.

3. What is your refund policy?

If at any time you are dissatisfied or feel you are not getting your money’s worth from your FivePlusTrax subscription just write us at support@fiveplus.co with the subject "Cancel Subscription" and we will cancel your subscription immediately and refund that entire months charge.

4. How else can I use FivePlusTrax?

In addition to keeping on top of your numbers, you can use FivePlusTrax to showcase your Company to your bank, your investors, employees…anywhere you want to show you are on top of your finances and gain credibility.

5. I use a bookkeeper to keep track of my finances.  Can I still use FivePlusTrax?

Yes!  Because your bookkeeper keeps your QuickBooks information just have them sign you up and share the password with you.  Any changes they make to your information shows up on your desktop 24/7!

6. How is my information updated?

By default FivePlusTrax is configured to automatically synchronize the data every 2 hours, as long as you have the Quickbooks file open and the Web Connector running. You can also synchronize the data manually through Web Connector.

7. How do I sign up for FivePlusTrax?

Step one: Click on this link https://www.fiveplustrax.com/index.php?page=new-account-registration

Step two: Fill in the blanks,

  • · Username: type in something you can remember example: CupofJoe, John316,
  • · Email:  (this email account will receive the verification email)
  • · Password
  • · Verify password: type the same password you just typed before

Step Three:  Click the Register button

Step Four: Check your email for the verification email. It should arrive in 1 to 10 minutes. Open the verification email from FivePlusTrax and click the activation link.

Step Five.  Return to www.fiveplustrax.com and log in with your user name and password.

8. What QuickBooks editions does FivePlusTrax work with?

Currently FivePlusTrax is compatible with any version of QuickBooks that interacts with the QuickBooks Web Connector.

These include:
  • U.S. editions of QuickBooks Financial Software products
  • QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions
  • QuickBooks Premier (2002 or later)
  • QuickBooks Pro (2002 or later)
  • QuickBooks Simple Start (2006 or later)

9. Doesn’t my bookkeeper already do all this?

Only if you pay them to do so as an extra charge.  Using the power of Cloud computing we can do in seconds what your bookkeeper would take hours to do.  And at a fraction of the cost.

10. What do I do if I do not use any financial software?

Running a business day to day is tough and even harder when you don’t have the right information to make the right decisions.  We built FivePlusTrax to give you that information, but you need to have place of beginning…a firm foundation to stand on and that is the right accounting software.  We recommend and built our product to work with QuickBooks because it’s currently used by over 80% of the market.

11. Do I have to buy QuickBooks?

12. What are the system requirements to use FivePlusTrax?

You will need to have a compatible version of Quickbooks Product installed, you will also need QuickBooks web connector and your favourite browser . Thats it!

13. What is Web Connector and why do I have to download it?

Web Connector is a program that allows us to connect to your QuickBooks when opened it allows us to update your financial dashboard. It takes a quick snap shot of your current financial data in your files and then records and saves that information. The Web Connector then pushes this information to your FivePlusTrax Dashboard where it is presented in a series of charts and graphs.

14. What if I already have web connector?

If you already have Quickbooks and Quickbooks Webconnector installed on the machine, its one less thing to worry about. After you register please follow the instructions to download the FivePlusTrax Installation file to add FivePlusTrax to the Web Connector and Grant Permission for it to access the Quickbooks file

15. How do I log in to FivePlusTrax?

Simply find the log-in username and password boxes located at the top of all the FivePlusTrax web pages. Then sign-in with your FivePlusTrax username and password.

16. Can I log in from any computer?

Yes.  We built FivePlus so you can access it from any computer and your data always remains safe.

17. What do I do if my financial software does not integrate with FivePlusTrax?

At this time FivePlusTrax will only integrate with QuickBooks software. If you do not have or use QuickBooks software, you can download a free trial version of their starter software, Simple Start at http://download.cnet.com/QuickBooks-Simple-Start-Free-Edition/3000-2066_4-10608523.html This will give you thirty days to see if you like it. If you decide not to use QuickBooks or FivePlusTrax just send us a note and we will cancel your subscription immediately.

18. What type of security does FivePlusTrax have?

Only FivePlusTrax users have access to the password protected information displayed on their FivePlusTrax Dashboard™. FivePlusTrax uses 256-bit encryption technology via Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) through a tier one certificate to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of their data. FivePlusTrax account data and QuickBooks data are held in separate secure databases, which ensures complete data anonymity at all times.

19. Is my data safe?

All data collected by your Web Connector is stored in FivePlusTrax servers located at Amazon.com, one of the most secure facilities in the world.  All users’ data is broken down and saved into multiple servers so that only the server can make sense of the information. If the information were ever hacked into, none of the numbers would match up.

20. Does anyone have access to my financial data?

At FivePlusTrax we value your privacy as much as we value our own so your data is encrypted so it cannot be read by anyone other than you.  We don’t share your data with anyone.  Period.

21. How can I protect my FivePlusTrax account?

  • Don’t share your FivePlusTrax password with anyone unless you want them to see your information.
  • Make sure that your password is complex, including both numbers and capital letters.
  • Be certain that you have virus protection and a firewall on any computer you use to access FivePlusTrax.
  • Don’t install programs from people or companies you don’t know.
  • Learn to prevent identity theft and identify Phishing attempts.

22. If someone does manage to steal my FivePlusTrax log in information, can they access my QuickBooks data?

No.  FivePlusTrax provides a strictly “read only” view of your FivePlusTrax™ dashboard.  That means if someone stole your password they would only have access to your dashboard, not your QuickBooks file.

23. What information can I monitor in my FivePlusTrax Dashboard™?

We monitor key performance indicators of your business to help you build a better business.  These include summary and details on cash coming in (accounts receivable) cash going out (accounts payable), cash (working capital) and what accounts are overdue.

24. How do I set up alerts in my FivePlusTrax Dashboard™?

We have already Setup some alerts based on industry standards, you should see them once you login to your dashboard. We plan to add more alerts as we go.

25. How do I change the username on my account?

26. How do I change the password on my account?

To change your password you must first be logged into your FivePlusTrax account with your username and password. Once logged in you will go to your my Profile page. In the password box you enter a new password in submit it again underneath in the Verify Password box. Once you have added your new password click the Save button.

27. How much is a FivePlusTrax subscription?

FivePlusTrax is a month to month subscription of $19.95, and you can cancel at any time.

To log-out of FivePlusTrax you simply click the Log-out button at the top right hand side of any webpage on FivePlusTrax.

31. What happens to my data after I cancel my account at FivePlusTrax?

upon receiving your request, we will delete all of your quickbooks data from our database.

32. What kind of training does FivePlusTrax offer to its users on how to use the site?

We built FivePlusTrax so you didn’t need to learn any new skills in order to get the most from using it.  If you have any problems contact us at support@fiveplus.co with the subject "Training", and we will walk you through any challenges you might have.
